וְרוּחַ֙ לָבְשָׁ֣ה אֶת עֲמָשַׂ֔י רֹ֖אשׁ הַשָּׁלִישִׁ֑ים לְךָ֤ דָוִיד֙ וְעִמְּךָ֣ בֶן יִשַׁ֔י שָׁל֤וֹם שָׁל֙וֹם֙ לְךָ֔ וְשָׁל֕וֹם לְעֹזְרֶ֔ךָ כִּ֥י עֲזָרְךָ֖ אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ וַיְקַבְּלֵ֗ם דָּוִ֛יד וַיִּתְּנֵ֖ם בְּרָאשֵׁ֥י הַגְּדֽוּד׃
Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
Entonces el Espíritu vistió a Amasai, jefe de los treinta, y dijo: Somos tuyos, oh David, y estamos contigo, oh hijo de Isaí. ¡Paz, paz a ti, y paz a tus ayudadores! Porque tu Dios te ayuda. Entonces David los recibió y los puso como oficiales de sus tropas.
