בֵּ֗אדַיִן עָנ֤וֹ וְאָמְרִין֙ קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֔א דִּ֤י דָנִיֵּאל֙ דִּ֣י מִן בְּנֵ֣י גָלוּתָ֣א דִ֣י יְהוּד֑ לָ֣א שָׂ֣ם עֲלָ֡ךְ מַלְכָּ֡א טְּעֵ֡ם וְעַל אֱסָרָ֡א דִּ֣י רְשַׁ֡מְתָּ וְזִמְנִ֡ין תְּלָ֡תָה בְיֹֽומָ֡א בָּעֵ֡א בָעוּ֡תֵהּ׃
Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
Entonces respondieron y dijeron ante el rey: Daniel, que es uno de los exiliados de Judá, no te hace caso, oh rey, ni a la prohibición que has firmado, sino que tres veces al día hace su petición.
