Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
Si no fuera porque el Dios de mi padre, el Dios de Abraham, y el Temor de Isaac, ha estado conmigo, ciertamente ahora me habrías despedido con las manos vacías. Dios ha visto mi aflicción y el trabajo de mis manos, y te reprendió anoche».
