1 Chronicles 1:10

וְכוּשׁ יָלַ֖ד אֶת נִמְר֑וֹד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לִהְי֥וֹת גִּבּ֖וֹר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

vkvsh yalad ʾet nimrvod hvʾ heḥel lihyvot gibvor baʾareṣ

King James Version (KJV)

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

Cush fathered Nimrod. He was the first on earth to be a mighty man.
