בְּכֹ֣ל אֲשֶׁר הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בְּכָ֣ל יִ֣שְׂרָאֵ֡ל הֲדָבָ֨ר דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי אֶת אַחַד֙ שֹׁפְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ לִרְע֣וֹת אֶת עַמִּ֔י לֵאמֹ֕ר לָ֥מָּה לֹ֥א בְנִיתֶ֖ם לִ֥י בֵ֖ית אֲרָזִֽים׃

Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?

Modern English

Wherever I have moved among all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people, saying: Why have you not built me a house of cedar?
