2 Chronicles 5:8

For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim covered the ark and its poles from above.

וַיִּהְי֣וּ הַכְּרוּבִ֡ים פֹּרְשִׂ֣ים כְּנָפַ֡יִם עַ֣ל מְקוֹם הָ֠אָרוֹן וַיְכַסּ֨וּ הַכְּרוּבִ֜ים עַ֧ל הָאָר֛וֹן וְעַ֥ל בַּדָּ֖יו מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃

vayihyv hakrvbiym porshiym knapayim ʿal mqvom haʾarvon vaykasv hakrvbiym ʿal haʾarvon vʿal badayv milmaʿlah
