2 Chronicles 7:16

וְעַתָּ֗ה בָּחַ֧רְתִּי וְהִקְדַּ֛שְׁתִּי אֶ֣ת הַ֠בַּ֠יִת הַ֠זֶּה לִהְי֣וֹת שְׁמִ֣י שָׁ֣ם עַ֣ד עוֹלָ֡ם וְ֠הָיוּ עֵינַ֡י וְלִבִּ֣י שָׁ֣ם כָּ֣ל הַ֠יָּמִֽים׃

vʿatah baḥartiy vhiqdashtiy ʾet habayit hazeh lihyvot shmiy sham ʿad ʿvolam vhayv ʿeynay vlibiy sham kal hayamiym

King James Version (KJV)

For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Modern English

For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time.
