חָטָ֗אתִי מָ֭ה אֶפְעַ֣ל לָ֑ךְ נֹצֵ֥ר הָ֝אָדָ֗ם לָ֣מָּה שַׂמְתַּ֥נִי לְמִפְגָּ֗ע לָ֣ךְ וָאֶהְיֶ֥ה עָלַ֗י לְמַשָּֽׂא׃
ḥaṭaʾtiy mah ʾepʿal lak noṣer haʾadam lamah shamtaniy lmipgaʿ lak vaʾehyeh ʿalay lmashaʾ

I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?

Modern English

If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind? Why have you made me your mark? Why have I become a burden to you?
