Entonces Natán habló a Betsabé, madre de Salomón, diciendo: «¿No has oído que Adonías hijo de Haguit reina, y David nuestro señor no lo sabe?
Wherefore Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth {it} not?
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר נָתָ֗ן אֶל־בַּת־שֶׁ֤בַע אֵם־שְׁלֹמֹה֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הֲל֣וֹא שָׁמַ֔עַתְּ כִּ֥י מָלַ֖ךְ אֲדֹנִיָּ֣הוּ בֶן־חַגִּ֑ית וַאֲדֹנֵ֥ינוּ דָוִ֖ד לֹ֥א יָדָֽע׃
vayoʾmer natan ʾel-bat-shebaʿ ʾem-shlomoh leʾmor halvoʾ shamaʿat kiy malak ʾadoniyahv ben-ḥagiyt vaʾadoneynv david loʾ yadaʿ
