וַתִּקֹּ֣ד בַּת־שֶׁ֔בַע וַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ לַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מַה־לָּֽךְ׃
vatiqod bat-shebaʿ vatishtaḥv lamelek vayoʾmer hamelek mah-lak

And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance unto the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou? {What...: Heb. What to thee?}

Bathsheba bowed, and showed respect to the king. The king said, “What would you like?”
