וַתָּ֗שָׁב וַתֹּ֤אכַל לֶ֙חֶם֙ וַתֵּ֣שְׁתְּ מַ֔יִם בַּמָּקוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלֶ֔יךָ אַל־תֹּ֥אכַל לֶ֖חֶם וְאַל־תֵּ֣שְׁתְּ מָ֑יִם לֹֽא־תָב֥וֹא נִבְלָתְךָ֖ אֶל־קֶ֥בֶר אֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
vatashab vatoʾkal leḥem vatesht mayim bamaqvom ʾasher diber ʾeleyka ʾal-toʾkal leḥem vʾal-tesht mayim loʾ-tabvoʾ niblatka ʾel-qeber ʾaboteyka

But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which {the LORD} did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

Modern English

but came back, and have eaten bread and drank water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread, and drink no water”; your body will not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”
