y rompí el reino de la casa de David y te lo entregué a ti; y tú no has sido como mi siervo David, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo recto ante mis ojos,
And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and {yet} thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do {that} only {which was} right in mine eyes;
וָאֶקְרַ֤ע אֶת־הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ מִבֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֔ד וָאֶתְּנֶ֖הָ לָ֑ךְ וְלֹֽא־הָיִ֜יתָ כְּעַבְדִּ֣י דָוִ֗ד אֲשֶׁר֩ שָׁמַ֨ר מִצְוֺתַ֜י וַאֲשֶׁר־הָלַ֤ךְ אַחֲרַי֙ בְּכָל־לְבָב֔וֹ לַעֲשׂ֕וֹת רַ֖ק הַיָּשָׁ֥ר בְּעֵינָֽי׃
vaʾeqraʿ ʾet-hamamlakah mibeyt david vaʾetneha lak vloʾ-hayiyta kʿabdiy david ʾasher shamar miṣvotay vaʾasher-halak ʾaḥaray bkal-lbabvo laʿasvot raq hayashar bʿeynay
