וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ הַתִּשְׁבִּ֜י מִתֹּשָׁבֵ֣י גִלְעָד֮ אֶל־אַחְאָב֒ חַי־יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָמַ֣דְתִּי לְפָנָ֔יו אִם־יִהְיֶ֛ה הַשָּׁנִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה טַ֣ל וּמָטָ֑ר כִּ֖י אִם־לְפִ֥י דְבָרִֽי׃
vayoʾmer ʾeliyahv hatishbiy mitoshabey gilʿad ʾel-ʾaḥʾab ḥay-yhvah ʾelohey yishraʾel ʾasher ʿamadtiy lpanayv ʾim-yihyeh hashaniym haʾeleh ṭal vmaṭar kiy ʾim-lpiy dbariy

And Elijah the Tishbite, {who was} of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, {As} the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. {Elijah: Heb. Elijahu: Gr. Elias}

Modern English

Elijah the Tishbite, who was one of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As Yahweh, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
