Y él fue e hizo conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR; pues fue y vivió junto al arroyo de Querit, que está frente al Jordán.
So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that {is} before Jordan.
וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ בְּנַ֣חַל כְּרִ֔ית אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃
vayelek vayaʿas kidbar yhvah vayelek vayesheb bnaḥal kriyt ʾasher ʿal-pney hayarden
