וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶֽל־נַעֲר֗וֹ עֲלֵֽה־נָא֙ הַבֵּ֣ט דֶּֽרֶךְ־יָ֔ם וַיַּ֙עַל֙ וַיַּבֵּ֔ט וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֵ֣ין מְא֑וּמָה וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שֻׁ֖ב שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִֽים׃
vayoʾmer ʾel-naʿarvo ʿaleh-naʾ habeṭ derek-yam vayaʿal vayabeṭ vayoʾmer ʾeyn mʾvmah vayoʾmer shub shebaʿ pʿamiym
King James Version (KJV)

And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, {There is} nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

Modern English

He said to his servant, “Go up now, and look toward the sea.” He went up, and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” He said, “Go again” seven times.
