וַיֻּגַּ֞ד לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה כִּ֣י נָ֤ס יוֹאָב֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל יְהוָ֔ה וְהִנֵּ֖ה אֵ֣צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה אֶת־בְּנָיָ֧הוּ בֶן־יְהוֹיָדָ֛ע לֵאמֹ֖ר לֵ֥ךְ פְּגַע־בּֽוֹ׃
vayugad lamelek shlomoh kiy nas yvoʾab ʾel-ʾohel yhvah vhineh ʾeṣel hamizbeḥa vayishlaḥ shlomoh ʾet-bnayahv ben-yhvoyadaʿ leʾmor lek pgaʿ-bvo
King James Version (KJV)

And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, {he is} by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.

Modern English

King Solomon was told, “Joab has fled to Yahweh’s Tent, and behold, he is by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, fall on him.”
