Y aconteció que cuando Acab oyó estas palabras, rasgó sus vestidos y puso cilicio sobre su cuerpo, y ayunó, y durmió en cilicio, y anduvo humillado.
And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אַחְאָ֜ב אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֤ים הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ וַיִּקְרַ֣ע בְּגָדָ֔יו וַיָּֽשֶׂם־שַׂ֥ק עַל־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ וַיָּצ֑וֹם וַיִּשְׁכַּ֣ב בַּשָּׂ֔ק וַיְהַלֵּ֖ךְ אַֽט׃
vayhiy kishmoʿa ʾaḥʾab ʾet-hadbariym haʾeleh vayiqraʿ bgadayv vayashem-shaq ʿal-bsharvo vayaṣvom vayishkab bashaq vayhalek ʾaṭ
