וַיַּבֵּ֧ט הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֛י וַיִּרְאֶ֥ה אֶת־דָּוִ֖ד וַיִּבְזֵ֑הוּ כִּֽי־הָיָ֣ה נַ֔עַר וְאַדְמֹנִ֖י עִם־יְפֵ֥ה מַרְאֶֽה׃
vayabeṭ haplishtiy vayirʾeh ʾet-david vayibzehv kiy-hayah naʿar vʾadmoniy ʿim-ypeh marʾeh

And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was {but} a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

Modern English

When the Philistine looked around, and saw David, he disdained him; for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and had a good looking face.
