Jonatán le respondió: «Lejos de eso; no morirás. Mira, mi padre no hace nada, ni grande ni pequeño, sin que me lo revele. ¿Por qué habría de ocultarme mi padre este asunto? No es así.»

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר ל֣וֹ חָלִילָה֮ לֹ֣א תָמוּת֒ הִנֵּ֡ה לו־עשה לֹֽא־יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה אָבִ֜י דָּבָ֣ר גָּד֗וֹל א֚וֹ דָּבָ֣ר קָטֹ֔ן וְלֹ֥א יִגְלֶ֖ה אֶת־אָזְנִ֑י וּמַדּוּעַ֩ יַסְתִּ֨יר אָבִ֥י מִמֶּ֛נִּי אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה אֵ֥ין זֹֽאת׃
vayoʾmer lvo ḥaliylah loʾ tamvt hineh lv-ʿshh loʾ-yaʿasheh ʾabiy dabar gadvol ʾvo dabar qaṭon vloʾ yigleh ʾet-ʾazniy vmadvʿa yastiyr ʾabiy mimeniy ʾet-hadabar hazeh ʾeyn zoʾt
