Jonatán se levantó de la mesa con gran enojo, y aquel segundo día de la luna nueva no comió nada, porque estaba afligido por David, ya que su padre lo había avergonzado.
So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and did eat no meat the second day of the month: for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.
וַיָּ֧קָם יְהוֹנָתָ֛ן מֵעִ֥ם הַשֻּׁלְחָ֖ן בָּחֳרִי־אָ֑ף וְלֹא־אָכַ֞ל בְּיוֹם־הַחֹ֤דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי֙ לֶ֔חֶם כִּ֤י נֶעְצַב֙ אֶל־דָּוִ֔ד כִּ֥י הִכְלִמ֖וֹ אָבִֽיו׃
vayaqam yhvonatan meʿim hashulḥan baḥoriy-ʾaf vloʾ-ʾakal byvom-haḥodesh hasheniy leḥem kiy neʿṣab ʾel-david kiy hiklimvo ʾabiyv
