Entonces Saúl se levantó y bajó al desierto de Zif, llevando consigo tres mil hombres escogidos de Israel, para buscar a David en el desierto de Zif.
Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.
וַיָּ֣קָם שָׁא֗וּל וַיֵּ֙רֶד֙ אֶל־מִדְבַּר־זִ֔יף וְאִתּ֛וֹ שְׁלֹֽשֶׁת־אֲלָפִ֥ים אִ֖ישׁ בְּחוּרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ אֶת־דָּוִ֖ד בְּמִדְבַּר־זִֽיף׃
vayaqam shaʾvl vayered ʾel-midbar-ziyf vʾitvo shloshet-ʾalapiym ʾiysh bḥvrey yishraʾel lbaqesh ʾet-david bmidbar-ziyf
