Ahora bien, Samuel había muerto, y todo Israel lo había llorado y lo habían sepultado en Ramá, en su propia ciudad. Y Saúl había expulsado del país a los que consultaban espíritus y a los adivinos.
Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
וּשְׁמוּאֵ֣ל מֵ֔ת וַיִּסְפְּדוּ־לוֹ֙ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֥הוּ בָרָמָ֖ה וּבְעִיר֑וֹ וְשָׁא֗וּל הֵסִ֛יר הָאֹב֥וֹת וְאֶת־הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֖ים מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃
vshmvʾel met vayispdv-lvo kal-yishraʾel vayiqbruhv baramah vbʿiyrvo vshaʾvl hesiyr haʾobvot vʾet-hayidʿoniym mehaʾareṣ
