Se levantaron de madrugada, y al clarear el día Samuel llamó a Saúl en la azotea: «Levántate, para que te despida.» Saúl se levantó y salieron fuera los dos, él y Samuel.
And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad.
וַיַּשְׁכִּ֗מוּ וַיְהִ֞י כַּעֲל֤וֹת הַשַּׁ֙חַר֙ וַיִּקְרָ֨א שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל אֶל־שָׁאוּל֙ הגג הַגָּ֣גָה לֵאמֹ֔ר ק֖וּמָה וַאֲשַׁלְּחֶ֑ךָּ וַיָּ֣קָם שָׁא֗וּל וַיֵּצְא֧וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֛ם ה֥וּא וּשְׁמוּאֵ֖ל הַחֽוּצָה׃
vayashkimv vayhiy kaʿalvot hashaḥar vayiqraʾ shmvʾel ʾel-shaʾvl hgg hagagah leʾmor qvmah vaʾashalḥeka vayaqam shaʾvl vayeṣʾv shneyhem hvʾ vshmvʾel haḥvṣah
