E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del SEÑOR, y siguió los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, que hizo pecar a Israel; y no se apartó de ellos.
And he did {that which was} evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom. {followed: Heb. walked after}
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַ֠יֵּלֶךְ אַחַ֨ר חַטֹּ֜את יָרָבְעָ֧ם בֶּן־נְבָ֛ט אֲשֶׁר־הֶחֱטִ֥יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹא־סָ֥ר מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
vayaʿas haraʿ bʿeyney yhvah vayelek ʾaḥar ḥaṭoʾt yarabʿam ben-nbaṭ ʾasher-heḥeṭiyʾ ʾet-yishraʾel loʾ-sar mimenah
