Mas el SEÑOR tuvo misericordia de ellos, y se compadeció de ellos y los miró, a causa de su pacto con Abraham, Isaac y Jacob; y no quiso destruirlos ni echarlos de delante de su presencia hasta hoy.
And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet. {presence: Heb. face}
וַיָּחָן֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֹתָ֤ם וַֽיְרַחֲמֵם֙ וַיִּ֣פֶן אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם לְמַ֣עַן בְּרִית֔וֹ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֖ם יִצְחָ֣ק וְיַֽעֲקֹ֑ב וְלֹ֤א אָבָה֙ הַשְׁחִיתָ֔ם וְלֹֽא־הִשְׁלִיכָ֥ם מֵֽעַל־פָּנָ֖יו עַד־עָֽתָּה׃
vayaḥan yhvah ʾotam vayraḥamem vayipen ʾaleyhem lmaʿan briytvo ʾet-ʾabraham yiṣḥaq vyaʿaqob vloʾ ʾabah hashḥiytam vloʾ-hishliykam meʿal-panayv ʿad-ʿatah
