Porque Israel fue apartado de la casa de David, y pusieron por rey a Jeroboam hijo de Nabat; y Jeroboam apartó a Israel de en pos del SEÑOR, y les hizo cometer gran pecado.
For he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following the LORD, and made them sin a great sin.
כִּֽי־קָרַ֣ע יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מֵעַל֙ בֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֔ד וַיַּמְלִ֖יכוּ אֶת־יָרָבְעָ֣ם בֶּן־נְבָ֑ט וידא וַיַּדַּ֨ח יָרָבְעָ֤ם אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מֵאַחֲרֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְהֶחֱטֵיאָ֖ם חֲטָאָ֥ה גְדוֹלָֽה׃
kiy-qaraʿ yishraʾel meʿal beyt david vayamliykv ʾet-yarabʿam ben-nbaṭ vydʾ vayadaḥ yarabʿam ʾet-yishraʾel meʾaḥarey yhvah vheḥeṭeyʾam ḥaṭaʾah gdvolah
