Y el Rabsacés les dijo: «¿Me ha enviado mi señor a decir estas palabras a tu señor y a ti, y no a los hombres que están sobre el muro, que han de comer con vosotros su excremento y beber su orina?»
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? {hath he} not {sent me} to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you? {their own piss: Heb. the water of their feet}
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם רַב־שָׁקֵ֗ה הַעַ֨ל אֲדֹנֶ֤יךָ וְאֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ שְׁלָחַ֣נִי אֲדֹנִ֔י לְדַבֵּ֖ר אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה הֲלֹ֣א עַל־הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙ עַל־הַ֣חֹמָ֔ה לֶאֱכֹ֣ל אֶת חריהם צוֹאָתָ֗ם וְלִשְׁתּ֛וֹת אֶת־שיניהם מימֵ֥י רַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם עִמָּכֶֽם׃
vayoʾmer ʾaleyhem rab-shaqeh haʿal ʾadoneyka vʾeleyka shlaḥaniy ʾadoniy ldaber ʾet-hadbariym haʾeleh haloʾ ʿal-haʾanashiym hayoshbiym ʿal-haḥomah leʾekol ʾet ḥryhm ṣvoʾatam vlishtvot ʾet-shynyhm mymey ragleyhem ʿimakem
