Y en el cuarto año del rey Ezequías, que era el año séptimo de Oseas hijo de Ela rey de Israel, subió Salmanasar rey de Asiria contra Samaria y la sitió.
And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which {was} the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, {that} Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
וַֽיְהִ֞י בַּשָּׁנָ֤ה הָֽרְבִיעִית֙ לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ הִ֚יא הַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ית לְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ בֶּן־אֵלָ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עָלָ֞ה שַׁלְמַנְאֶ֧סֶר מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֛וּר עַל־שֹׁמְר֖וֹן וַיָּ֥צַר עָלֶֽיהָ׃
vayhiy bashanah harbiyʿiyt lamelek ḥizqiyahv hiyʾ hashanah hashbiyʿiyt lhvosheʿa ben-ʾelah melek yishraʾel ʿalah shalmanʾeser melek-ʾashvr ʿal-shomrvon vayaṣar ʿaleyha
