También puso la imagen de Asera que había hecho, en la casa de la cual el SEÑOR había dicho a David y a Salomón su hijo: «Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalén, la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel.
And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
וַיָּ֕שֶׂם אֶת־פֶּ֥סֶל הָאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה בַּבַּ֗יִת אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־דָּוִד֙ וְאֶל־שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֔וֹ בַּבַּ֨יִת הַזֶּ֜ה וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר בָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙ מִכֹּל֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אָשִׂ֥ים אֶת־שְׁמִ֖י לְעוֹלָֽם׃
vayashem ʾet-pesel haʾasherah ʾasher ʿashah babayit ʾasher ʾamar yhvah ʾel-david vʾel-shlomoh bnvo babayit hazeh vbiyrvshaliam ʾasher baḥartiy mikol shibṭey yishraʾel ʾashiym ʾet-shmiy lʿvolam
