Y al pueblo que Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia dejó en la tierra de Judá, puso por gobernador a Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán.
And {as for} the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
וְהָעָ֗ם הַנִּשְׁאָר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִשְׁאִ֔יר נְבֽוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֖ר מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל וַיַּפְקֵ֣ד עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אֶת־גְּדַלְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן־אֲחִיקָ֥ם בֶּן־שָׁפָֽן׃
vhaʿam hanishʾar bʾereṣ yhvdah ʾasher hishʾiyr nbvkadneʾṣar melek babel vayapqed ʿaleyhem ʾet-gdalyahv ben-ʾaḥiyqam ben-shapan
