Y salió uno al campo a recoger hierbas, y halló una como parra montés, y recogió de ella su falda llena de calabazas silvestres; y volvió, y las cortó en la olla del potaje, pues no conocían lo que era.
And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred {them} into the pot of pottage: for they knew {them} not.
וַיֵּצֵ֨א אֶחָ֣ד אֶל־הַשָּׂדֶה֮ לְלַקֵּ֣ט אֹרֹת֒ וַיִּמְצָא֙ גֶּ֣פֶן שָׂדֶ֔ה וַיְלַקֵּ֥ט מִמֶּ֛נּוּ פַּקֻּעֹ֥ת שָׂדֶ֖ה מְלֹ֣א בִגְד֑וֹ וַיָּבֹ֗א וַיְפַלַּ֛ח אֶל־סִ֥יר הַנָּזִ֖יד כִּֽי־לֹ֥א יָדָֽעוּ׃
vayeṣeʾ ʾeḥad ʾel-hashadeh llaqeṭ ʾorot vayimṣaʾ gepen shadeh vaylaqeṭ mimenv paquʿot shadeh mloʾ bigdvo vayaboʾ vaypalaḥ ʾel-siyr hanaziyd kiy-loʾ yadaʿv
