Cuando el rey oyó las palabras de aquella mujer, rasgó sus vestidos; y pasando él por el muro, el pueblo vio que traía cilicio en el cuerpo debajo de sus vestidos.
And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, {he had} sackcloth within upon his flesh.
וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־דִּבְרֵ֤י הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ וַיִּקְרַ֣ע אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וְה֖וּא עֹבֵ֣ר עַל־הַחֹמָ֑ה וַיַּ֣רְא הָעָ֔ם וְהִנֵּ֥ה הַשַּׂ֛ק עַל־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ מִבָּֽיִת׃
vayhiy kishmoʿa hamelek ʾet-dibrey haʾishah vayiqraʿ ʾet-bgadayv vhvʾ ʿober ʿal-haḥomah vayarʾ haʿam vhineh hashaq ʿal-bsharvo mibayit
