Porque el Señor había hecho que en el campamento de los sirios se oyese estruendo de carros, ruido de caballos y estrépito de gran ejército; y se dijeron los unos a los otros: «El rey de Israel ha contratado contra nosotros a los reyes de los hititas y a los reyes de los egipcios para que vengan contra nosotros.»
For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, {even} the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.
וַאדֹנָ֞י הִשְׁמִ֣יעַ ׀ אֶת־מַחֲנֵ֣ה אֲרָ֗ם ק֥וֹל רֶ֙כֶב֙ ק֣וֹל ס֔וּס ק֖וֹל חַ֣יִל גָּד֑וֹל וַיֹּאמְר֞וּ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֗יו הִנֵּ֣ה שָֽׂכַר־עָלֵינוּ֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־מַלְכֵ֧י הַחִתִּ֛ים וְאֶת־מַלְכֵ֥י מִצְרַ֖יִם לָב֥וֹא עָלֵֽינוּ׃
vaʾdonay hishmiyʿa ׀ ʾet-maḥaneh ʾaram qvol rekeb qvol svs qvol ḥayil gadvol vayoʾmrv ʾiysh ʾel-ʾaḥiyv hineh shakar-ʿaleynv melek yishraʾel ʾet-malkey haḥitiym vʾet-malkey miṣrayim labvoʾ ʿaleynv
