Y si ahora yo he venido a hablar este asunto a mi señor el rey, es porque el pueblo me ha atemorizado. Y tu sierva dijo: 'Hablaré ahora al rey; quizás el rey ejecute el deseo de su sierva.'
Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, {it is} because the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid.
וְ֠עַתָּה אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֜אתִי לְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל־הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֲדֹנִי֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה כִּ֥י יֵֽרְאֻ֖נִי הָעָ֑ם וַתֹּ֤אמֶר שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֙ אֲדַבְּרָה־נָּ֣א אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אוּלַ֛י יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶת־דְּבַ֥ר אֲמָתֽוֹ׃
vʿatah ʾasher-baʾtiy ldaber ʾel-hamelek ʾadoniy ʾet-hadabar hazeh kiy yerʾuniy haʿam vatoʾmer shipḥatka ʾadabrah-naʾ ʾel-hamelek ʾvlay yaʿasheh hamelek ʾet-dbar ʾamatvo
