Entonces Joab tocó la trompeta, y el pueblo se volvió de perseguir a Israel; porque Joab detuvo al pueblo.
And Joab blew the trumpet, and the people returned from pursuing after Israel: for Joab held back the people.
וַיִּתְקַ֤ע יוֹאָב֙ בַּשֹּׁפָ֔ר וַיָּ֣שָׁב הָעָ֔ם מִרְדֹ֖ף אַחֲרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּֽי־חָשַׂ֥ךְ יוֹאָ֖ב אֶת־הָעָֽם׃
vayitqaʿ yvoʾab bashopar vayashab haʿam mirdof ʾaḥarey yishraʾel kiy-ḥashak yvoʾab ʾet-haʿam
