Tomaron a Asael y lo sepultaron en el sepulcro de su padre, que estaba en Belén. Joab y sus hombres caminaron toda la noche, y al amanecer llegaron a Hebrón.
And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which {was in} Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙ אֶת־עֲשָׂהאֵ֔ל וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֙הוּ֙ בְּקֶ֣בֶר אָבִ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֖ר בֵּ֣ית לָ֑חֶם וַיֵּלְכ֣וּ כָל־הַלַּ֗יְלָה יוֹאָב֙ וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֔יו וַיֵּאֹ֥ר לָהֶ֖ם בְּחֶבְרֽוֹן׃
vayishʾv ʾet-ʿashahʾel vayiqbruhv bqeber ʾabiyv ʾasher beyt laḥem vayelkv kal-halaylah yvoʾab vaʾanashayv vayeʾor lahem bḥebrvon
