Entonces Rizpa hija de Ahí tomó un saco y lo extendió para sí sobre la peña, desde el principio de la siega hasta que lluvias del cielo cayeron sobre ellos; y no dejó que las aves del cielo reposaran sobre ellos de día, ni las bestias del campo de noche.
And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.
וַתִּקַּ֣ח רִצְפָּה֩ בַת־אַיָּ֨ה אֶת־הַשַּׂ֜ק וַתַּטֵּ֨הוּ לָ֤הּ אֶל־הַצּוּר֙ מִתְּחִלַּ֣ת קָצִ֔יר עַ֛ד נִתַּךְ־מַ֥יִם עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מִן־הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְלֹֽא־נָתְנָה֩ ע֨וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם לָנ֤וּחַ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וְאֶת־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה לָֽיְלָה׃
vatiqaḥ riṣpah bat-ʾayah ʾet-hashaq vataṭehv lah ʾel-haṣvr mitḥilat qaṣiyr ʿad nitak-mayim ʿaleyhem min-hashamayim vloʾ-natnah ʿvof hashamayim lanvḥa ʿaleyhem yvomam vʾet-ḥayat hashadeh laylah
