Luego David puso guarniciones en Siria de Damasco; y los sirios quedaron como siervos de David, y le traían presentes. Y el SEÑOR daba la victoria a David dondequiera que iba.
Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, {and} brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
וַיָּ֨שֶׂם דָּוִ֤ד נְצִבִים֙ בַּאֲרַ֣ם דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וַתְּהִ֤י אֲרָם֙ לְדָוִ֔ד לַעֲבָדִ֖ים נוֹשְׂאֵ֣י מִנְחָ֑ה וַיֹּ֤שַׁע יְהוָה֙ אֶת־דָּוִ֔ד בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
vayashem david nṣibiym baʾaram damesheq vathiy ʾaram ldavid laʿabadiym nvoshʾey minḥah vayoshaʿ yhvah ʾet-david bkol ʾasher halak
