El pueblo de la tierra ha practicado la opresión y ha ejercido el robo. Sí, han maltratado al pobre y al necesitado, y han oprimido injustamente al extranjero.

עַ֤ם הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ עָ֣שְׁקוּ עֹ֔שֶׁק וְגָזְל֖וּ גָּזֵ֑ל וְעָנִ֤י וְאֶבְיוֹן֙ הוֹנ֔וּ וְאֶת־הַגֵּ֥ר עָשְׁק֖וּ בְּלֹ֥א מִשְׁפָּֽט׃
