Los cuartos laterales eran más anchos en los pisos superiores, porque las paredes se estrechaban en los niveles más altos. Por eso el ancho del templo aumentaba hacia arriba; y así se subía desde el nivel inferior hasta el superior pasando por el nivel del medio.
And {there was} an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house {was still} upward, and so increased {from} the lowest {chamber} to the highest by the midst. {there...: Heb. it was made broader, and went round}
וְֽרָחֲבָ֡ה וְֽנָסְבָה֩ לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה לַצְּלָע֗וֹת כִּ֣י מֽוּסַב־הַ֠בַּיִת לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה סָבִ֤יב ׀ סָבִיב֙ לַבַּ֔יִת עַל־כֵּ֥ן רֹֽחַב־לַבַּ֖יִת לְמָ֑עְלָה וְכֵ֧ן הַתַּחְתּוֹנָ֛ה יַעֲלֶ֥ה עַל־הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֖ה לַתִּיכוֹנָֽה׃
