Entonces me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, ¿has visto lo que los ancianos de la casa de Israel hacen en la oscuridad, cada uno en su cámara de imágenes? Porque dicen: 'El SEÑOR no nos ve. El SEÑOR ha abandonado la tierra'».
Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַי֮ הֲרָאִ֣יתָ בֶן־אָדָם֒ אֲשֶׁ֨ר זִקְנֵ֤י בֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עֹשִׂ֣ים בַּחֹ֔שֶׁךְ אִ֖ישׁ בְּחַדְרֵ֣י מַשְׂכִּית֑וֹ כִּ֣י אֹמְרִ֗ים אֵ֤ין יְהוָה֙ רֹאֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔נוּ עָזַ֥ב יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
vayoʾmer ʾelay haraʾiyta ben-ʾadam ʾasher ziqney beyt-yishraʾel ʿoshiym baḥoshek ʾiysh bḥadrey mashkiytvo kiy ʾomriym ʾeyn yhvah roʾeh ʾotanv ʿazab yhvah ʾet-haʾareṣ
