Entonces Ageo respondió: «Así es este pueblo y así es esta nación ante mí —dice el SEÑOR—; y así es toda obra de sus manos. Lo que ofrecen allí es impuro.
Then answered Haggai, and said, So {is} this people, and so {is} this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so {is} every work of their hands; and that which they offer there {is} unclean.
וַיַּ֨עַן חַגַּ֜י וַיֹּ֗אמֶר כֵּ֣ן הָֽעָם־הַ֠זֶּה וְכֵן־הַגּ֨וֹי הַזֶּ֤ה לְפָנַי֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְכֵ֖ן כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְדֵיהֶ֑ם וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר יַקְרִ֛יבוּ שָׁ֖ם טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃
vayaʿan ḥagay vayoʾmer ken haʿam-hazeh vken-hagvoy hazeh lpanay nʾum-yhvah vken kal-maʿasheh ydeyhem vaʾasher yaqriybv sham ṭameʾ hvʾ
