Porque derribó a los que moraban en lugar sublime; humilló a la ciudad exaltada; la humilló, la abatió hasta la tierra; la postró hasta el polvo.
For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, {even} to the ground; he bringeth it {even} to the dust.
כִּ֤י הֵשַׁח֙ יֹשְׁבֵ֣י מָר֔וֹם קִרְיָ֖ה נִשְׂגָּבָ֑ה יַשְׁפִּילֶ֤נָּה יַשְׁפִּילָהּ֙ עַד־אֶ֔רֶץ יַגִּיעֶ֖נָּה עַד־עָפָֽר׃
kiy heshaḥ yoshbey marvom qiryah nishgabah yashpiylenah yashpiylah ʿad-ʾereṣ yagiyʿenah ʿad-ʿapar
