En sus palacios crecerán espinas; ortigas y cardos en sus fortalezas; y será morada de chacales, y patio de avestruces.
And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, {and} a court for owls. {owls: or, ostriches: Heb. daughters of the owl}
וְעָלְתָ֤ה אַרְמְנֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ סִירִ֔ים קִמּ֥וֹשׂ וָח֖וֹחַ בְּמִבְצָרֶ֑יהָ וְהָיְתָה֙ נְוֵ֣ה תַנִּ֔ים חָצִ֖יר לִבְנ֥וֹת יַעֲנָֽה׃
vʿaltah ʾarmnoteyha siyriym qimvos vaḥvoḥa bmibṣareyha vhaytah nveh taniym ḥaṣiyr libnvot yaʿanah
