En aquel tiempo Merodac-baladán hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió cartas y presentes a Ezequías, porque oyó que había estado enfermo y que ya había sanado.
At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֡וא שָׁלַ֡ח מְרֹדַ֣ךְ בַּ֠לְאֲדָן בֶּֽן־בַּלְאֲדָ֧ן מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל סְפָרִ֥ים וּמִנְחָ֖ה אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ וַיִּשְׁמַ֕ע כִּ֥י חָלָ֖ה וֽ͏ַיֶּחֱזָֽק׃
baʿet hahivʾ shalaḥ mrodak balʾadan ben-balʾadan melek-babel spariym vminḥah ʾel-ḥizqiyahv vayishmaʿ kiy ḥalah v͏ayeḥezaq
