Jeremiah 2:28

וְאַיֵּ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֣יתָ לָּ֔ךְ יָק֕וּמוּ אִם־יוֹשִׁיע֖וּךָ בְּעֵ֣ת רָעָתֶ֑ךָ כִּ֚י מִסְפַּ֣ר עָרֶ֔יךָ הָי֥וּ אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ יְהוּדָֽה׃
vʾayeh ʾeloheyka ʾasher ʿashiyta lak yaqvmv ʾim-yvoshiyʿvka bʿet raʿateka kiy mispar ʿareyka hayv ʾeloheyka yhvdah

But where {are} thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for {according to} the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah. {trouble: Heb. evil}

Modern English

“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble: for you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.
