Edificaron los lugares altos de Baal, que están en el valle del hijo de Hinom, para hacer pasar a sus hijos y a sus hijas por el fuego a Moloc; cosa que yo no les mandé. Ni siquiera pasó por mi mente que hicieran esta abominación, para hacer pecar a Judá.
And they built the high places of Baal, which {are} in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through {the fire} unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
וַיִּבְנוּ֩ אֶת־בָּמ֨וֹת הַבַּ֜עַל אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בְּגֵ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֗ם לְ֠הַעֲבִיר אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֣ם וְאֶת־בְּנוֹתֵיהֶם֮ לַמֹּלֶךְ֒ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־צִוִּיתִ֗ים וְלֹ֤א עָֽלְתָה֙ עַל־לִבִּ֔י לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת הַתּוֹעֵבָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את לְמַ֖עַן החטי הַחֲטִ֥יא אֶת־יְהוּדָֽה׃
