Y sucederá que cuando digáis: '¿Por qué ha hecho el SEÑOR nuestro Dios todas estas cosas con nosotros?', entonces les dirás: 'De la misma manera que me abandonasteis y servisteis a dioses ajenos en vuestra tierra, así serviréis a extranjeros en una tierra que no es vuestra.'
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these {things} unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land {that is} not yours.
וְהָיָה֙ כִּ֣י תֹאמְר֔וּ תַּ֣חַת מֶ֗ה עָשָׂ֨ה יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ לָ֖נוּ אֶת־כָּל־אֵ֑לֶּה וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר עֲזַבְתֶּ֤ם אוֹתִי֙ וַתַּעַבְד֞וּ אֱלֹהֵ֤י נֵכָר֙ בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם כֵּ֚ן תַּעַבְד֣וּ זָרִ֔ים בְּאֶ֖רֶץ לֹ֥א לָכֶֽם׃
