Jeremiah 51:17

נִבְעַ֤ר כָּל־אָדָם֙ מִדַּ֔עַת הֹבִ֥ישׁ כָּל־צֹרֵ֖ף מִפָּ֑סֶל כִּ֛י שֶׁ֥קֶר נִסְכּ֖וֹ וְלֹא־ר֥וּחַ בָּֽם׃
nibʿar kal-ʾadam midaʿat hobiysh kal-ṣoref mipasel kiy sheqer niskvo vloʾ-rvḥa bam

Every man is brutish by {his} knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image {is} falsehood, and {there is} no breath in them. {is brutish...: or, is more brutish than to know}

Modern English

“Every man has become brutish without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
