El SEÑOR la entregó también a ella, junto con su rey, en mano de Israel. La hirió a filo de espada con todas las almas que había en ella; no dejó nadie con vida. E hizo a su rey como había hecho al rey de Jericó.
And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that {were} therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.
וַיִּתֵּן֩ יְהוָ֨ה גַּם־אוֹתָ֜הּ בְּיַ֣ד יִשְׂרָאֵל֘ וְאֶת־מַלְכָּהּ֒ וַיַּכֶּ֣הָ לְפִי־חֶ֗רֶב וְאֶת־כָּל־הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֔הּ לֹֽא־הִשְׁאִ֥יר בָּ֖הּ שָׂרִ֑יד וַיַּ֣עַשׂ לְמַלְכָּ֔הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה לְמֶ֥לֶךְ יְרִיחֽוֹ׃
vayiten yhvah gam-ʾvotah byad yishraʾel vʾet-malkah vayakeha lpiy-ḥereb vʾet-kal-hanepesh ʾasher-bah loʾ-hishʾiyr bah shariyd vayaʿas lmalkah kaʾasher ʿashah lmelek yriyḥvo
